Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
